While Chinese knot tying is at the heart of Angela's work, many of her designs involve several different disciplines and applications. Starting with the basic drawing of a design, many cords require hours of cutting, sewing, pressing, weaving and wrapping; along with the knot tying and bead incorporation. The "exotic" tools of her trade include toothpicks, needle-nose pliers, nails in a board and chopsticks, to name a few.

Angela is considered a master of this 3000 year old art form; with the ability to both create and remember over 100 styles and variations. The uniqueness and rarity of her work has garnered her many awards in the United States and Europe over the past nine years.
