AWARD OF EXCELLENCE
HsiuChin Lin-Welti received the Award of Excellence at the Virginia Beach, VA, 2003 Boardwalk Festival and Art Show sponsored by the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia. Judges for the event were Joyce Henri Robinson, curator of the Palmer Museum of Art at Pennsylvania State University; Annie Storr,who teaches in the joint decorative arts graduate program at Smithsonian Institution and New School University; and John Thomas Suau, executive director of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums in Baltimore, Md.
